University Of Colorado and Born to Lead: The Sal Aunese Story Filmmakers Extend Licensing Agreement
LOS ANGELES CA, Jan. 23, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — via PRWEB – Sal Aunese was Colorado’s star Samoan quarterback who died of stomach cancer in 1989, and his team promptly dedicated their season to him. Through reflections from his friends, family, and teammates, as well as rare archival footage, Born To Lead chronicles Sal’s rise to the top as one of his team’s most valuable players and his valiant battle with the disease that took his life in 1989.
“We are ridiculously blessed to have friends and families like all of you,” says George Antonopoulos. “The goal has been reached, and this film will officially become a reality! We can’t wait to complete this film. It will happen now, thanks to you”.
Livin’ Large Productions, LLC has already invested $500,000.00 in to the production of this film, which is 90% complete. To achieve their goal of finishing the film they turned to Kickstarter for final funding. They recently reached their Kickstarter goal, and with time to spare. A new stretch goal has been created in order to make the film even better. The campaign ends at 7:00 p.m. EST January 24, 2014. To make your pledge, simply go tohttp://www.borntoleadfilm.com. Scheduled for a September, 2014 release, there is still more work that needs to be done on the film, which is why the producers have taken to Kickstarter to help raise the final funds.
